General Manager – Sheffield area
£55k - £60k,excellent bonus,company benefits,training and development etc
Presently recruiting a General Manager for this 4 star hotel in the Sheffield area with great links to the city for company hotel with approx 70 + bedrooms with hotel restaurant and bar.
The client is looking for a hands on person to lead and work with the operational team to ensure great customer service at all times,also manage the business to ensure to achieve the hotel budget and profit margins agreed.
You will work with and assist the HOD’s to create a positive working environment for all team members including casual and part time staff and offer training and development of the teams and departments.
Working with the sales team to drive and develop the room sales and also achieve a suitable ARR and to understand the local markets as well as having contacts within the main drivers of the city ie football,concerts,uni's etc
Also to manage the costs for labour,cost controls for cleaning products,food and wet gp margins.
Report to the Regional Director with regular communication through face to face meetings as well as telephone conversations to ensure the business is running to the standards,costs etc to deliver the profits set out in the budgets.
