About the Role
A prestigious 4 star hotel in the North West is seeking a highly experienced Rooms Division Operations Manager to lead the full Rooms Division function.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience as a Front Office Manager in a luxury hotel environment and a strong track record of delivering exceptional guest service.
This large, iconic property features 150+ luxury bedrooms, multiple restaurants and bars, a premium spa, and a high-capacity events space.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across Front Office, Concierge, Nights, Switchboard, and Duty Management.
- Drive guest satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality service standards.
- Implement and support the Rooms revenue strategy in partnership with other departmental leaders.
- Ensure all procedures and policies for transient and group guests are followed.
- Monitor departmental performance, cost control, labour planning, and profitability.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with F&B, Reservations, and Events teams to support a seamless guest journey.
- Identify opportunities to improve service, enhance processes, and maximise operational efficiency.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, guest expectations, and best practices within Rooms Division.
- Ensure Opera PMS is utilised accurately and efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Front Office Manager in a 4/5-star hotel.
- Extensive experience using Opera
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
- Confident handling guest complaints in a calm, professional manner.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working to measurable targets.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Enthusiastic, approachable, trustworthy, and committed to going the extra mile.
