Presently recruiting for this award winning hotel and also for their award winning hotel restaurant,this has been recognised with 1 rosette and ideally then client is looking for further development and to secure a 2nd rosette in the near future.

The client is looking for a capable hands on Restaurant Manager to lead their team of approx 50 + staff in this busy operation.

The venue is well known in the local area and also attracts guests from across the UK with their excellent services and facilities for this luxury rural hotel in the picturesque countryside of the Peak District region.

This hotel has 60 + bedrooms along with their busy 120 cover main hotel restaurant serving breakfast,lunch and dinner to the hotel guests as well as visitors from the local area.

There is also a very popular lounge area that offers and serves Afternoon Teas,the hotel is a popular choice for this in the local region.

This is a hands on manager role to work with and support the team and offer on going training and development to ensure a consistency of service standards.

As Restaurant Manager you will manage the day to day operations working with the team and be able to offer and ensure a great guest experience working with a dedicated team.

The restaurant is open to both residents and also the local clientele that use the facilities for it's 1st class service.

The hotel is also a popular venue and is well known in the area and also stands in it's own well maintained grounds and gardens.

Duties:

- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and train staff, including hiring, rota's and performance evaluations
- Maintain inventory levels of liquor and wine stocks and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
