Presently recruiting for this lovely rural hotel and restaurant based close to the Blackburn area for a Restaurant and Bar Manager to join their team.

This hotel has 40 + bedrooms along with a 70 cover restaurant serving breakfast,lunch and dinner as well as main hotel bar and lounge area that offers and serves Afternoon Teas,the hotel is a popular choice for this in the local region.

This is a hands on manager role to work with and support the team and offer on going training and development to ensure a consistency of service standards.

As Restaurant Manager you will manage the day to day operations working with the team and be able to offer and ensure a great guest experience working with a dedicated team.

The restaurant is open to both residents and also the local clientele that use the facilities for it's 1st class service.

The hotel is also a popular wedding and events venue and is well known in the area offering great wedding packages and also stands in it's own grounds.

Duties:

- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and train staff, including hiring, rota's and performance evaluations
- Maintain inventory levels of liquor and wine stocks and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
